WordPress Basics
Description:
This workshop will familiarize participants with the WordPress Website Content Management System. WordPress workshops are based on version 3.3x or higher. The first part of the training will cover basics while the second half will cover more advanced techniques.
Workshop topics include:
Basic Dashboard Navigation
Effective use of Posts and Pages
Using the Content Editing Interface for Pages and Posts
Using the media browser and managing uploads
Using the link manager effectively
Participants will need to bring a laptop computer with wireless network access. The workshop host facility will provide us with wireless internet access. A box lunch will be available for purchase, orders will be taken at the beginning of the workshop.
